Muddi Terms and Conditions Last updated: 27 April 2026 Welcome to Muddi. These Terms and Conditions explain how you may use the Muddi app, website and related services. By creating an account, accessing the app, or using Muddi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the app. 1. About Muddi Muddi is a business management tool designed to help tradies manage jobs, clients, quotes, invoices, reminders, payments, notes and related business information from their phone or device. Muddi is an administration tool only. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, business compliance or professional advice. 2. Your account You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your account with anyone else unless we allow this under your plan. You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date. 3. Local data storage Muddi is designed to store certain business data locally on your device and/or browser storage. This may include information such as clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, reminders, notes, settings and other app data. This local storage approach helps give you more control over your business information and reduces unnecessary central storage of your data. However, locally stored data can be lost if your device is damaged, lost, replaced, reset, updated, cleared, or if browser/app storage is deleted. 4. Your responsibility to back up data You are responsible for regularly backing up your Muddi data to a safe location. This may include exporting your data and saving it to cloud storage, external storage, email, another device, or another secure location controlled by you. You should not rely on Muddi as the only copy of important business records. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muddi is not responsible for data loss caused by: device failure lost, stolen or damaged devices deleting the app clearing browser history, cache or local storage operating system updates browser updates user error failure to export or back up data third-party service issues internet or hosting outages unauthorised access caused by weak passwords or insecure devices 5. Your business records You are responsible for checking and maintaining all business records created or stored in Muddi. This includes: client details job details quote information invoice information GST settings payment records business names and ABNs pricing terms of trade reminders notes exported files backup files You are responsible for ensuring that your records meet any legal, tax, accounting, licensing, insurance, workplace safety or business requirements that apply to you. 6. Quotes and invoices Muddi may help you create quotes, invoices and payment records. You are responsible for checking all quote and invoice details before sending them to a customer. Muddi is not responsible for incorrect amounts, incorrect GST treatment, incorrect customer details, unpaid invoices, payment disputes, or errors caused by information entered by you. You should seek advice from a qualified accountant, bookkeeper, tax adviser or legal adviser if you are unsure about your obligations. 7. Payments and subscriptions Muddi features may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, renewals, cancellations and inclusions will be shown at the time of purchase or inside your account. You are responsible for keeping your payment details current. If payment fails, we may restrict, suspend or cancel access to paid features. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically refund previous payments unless required by law or approved by us. 8. Refunds Refunds are handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and any refund terms shown at the time of purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. 9. Privacy and personal information Muddi may involve the handling of personal information, including your information and information about your customers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter, store and use any personal information you add to Muddi. Where Muddi collects or handles personal information, we will handle that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Australian Privacy Principles set out privacy obligations for covered organisations, including open and transparent management of personal information. 10. Security You are responsible for keeping your device, browser, account and backup files secure. You should: use a strong password lock your device keep your device software updated avoid sharing login details store exported backups securely avoid using Muddi on devices you do not trust We are not responsible for loss or unauthorised access caused by your failure to secure your device, account or backup files. 11. Third-party services Muddi may rely on or connect with third-party services, including hosting providers, payment providers, database services, app stores, analytics tools, email services or other platforms. We are not responsible for outages, errors, delays, pricing changes, data handling, security issues or service changes caused by third-party providers outside our control. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. 12. App availability We aim to keep Muddi available and working properly. However, we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, browser or operating system. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, technical issues, internet problems, third-party outages, device limitations or events outside our control. 13. Updates and changes to the app We may update, improve, change, remove or replace app features from time to time. Some changes may be required for security, performance, legal, technical or operational reasons. We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce the core purpose of the app, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will remain available forever. 14. Acceptable use You must not use Muddi to: break the law mislead customers send fraudulent quotes or invoices store unlawful or harmful material interfere with the app attempt to bypass security reverse engineer the app copy or resell the app without permission upload malicious code damage our systems or reputation use the app in a way that affects other users 15. Intellectual property Muddi, including its name, branding, design, layout, software, features, content and related materials, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may use Muddi for your own business purposes under these Terms. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, modify, distribute or create competing products from Muddi without our written permission. Your business data remains your responsibility and, where applicable, your property. 16. Suspension or termination We may suspend or terminate your access to Muddi if: you breach these Terms payment fails we believe your account is being misused your use creates legal, security or operational risk you use Muddi unlawfully or fraudulently we are required to do so by law You may stop using Muddi at any time. Before closing your account or deleting the app, you should export and back up any data you want to keep. 17. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: loss of data lost profits lost revenue business interruption loss of opportunity loss of goodwill customer disputes tax or accounting errors payment disputes device failure third-party service issues indirect or consequential loss Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law. 18. Australian Consumer Law Our services may come with guarantees, rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Where we are legally allowed to limit our liability, our liability may be limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having the service supplied again. 19. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will apply from the date they are published or made available inside the app. If a change is material, we may take reasonable steps to notify you.
